Whatever you celebrate this time of year, I hope you're all happy and safe.

I know I am, returning from celebrating Samhain just a few minutes ago. One of the best parts is that upon returning, I was greeted by my boyfriend, much needed vitamine bomb (carrot&apple salad) and even more needed defrost program (hot tea, hot milk with honey).

Tomorrow morning we're going to visit the graves of my deceased family members (because around this part of world, it's not Halloween but All Souls' Day, "Dušičky", with lots of people visiting the cemeteries, and I want to join in this time; I like remembering and I love the beauty of cemeteries in the fall). One of the graves belongs to my grand-grandmother who died when I was five, and yet she's one of the people who influenced my life the most, in a good way. The second is my grandmother who died before I was born. Both were very fine and interesting ladies.

I hope that you, too, have someone to remember with a kind smile, without sadness. More than that, I hope you have someone equally dear to remember them with.
